“REVIVING CRAFT” EXHIBITION GALA DINNER

Challenge:

As the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games approaches and with a very short deadline, we received a brief to invite a top Chinese Michelin chef in Paris to collaborate with a famous Chinese chef from China to make a customized Gala Dinner honoring the "REVIVING CRAFT" exhibition at Salon des boiseries of Musee Des Arts Decoratifs.

Our Solution:

Michelin-starred chef Samuel Lee, alongside internationally renowned Chinese chef Zhenxiang Dong—celebrated for his innovative Peking duck techniques—led the China-France culinary team in crafting a bespoke menu for the July 8th Sino-French Cultural Gala Dinner. Inspired by the five elements of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth from the Reviving Craft exhibition, their creations were complemented by custom lighting decorations and refined French table-setting artistry, elevating the dining experience.
